Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals Begins Trading On NASDAQ With CYCC Ticker Symbol

SHORT HILLS, NJ, MARCH 28, 2006 – Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: CYCC) announced today that it will begin trading this morning on the Nasdaq National Market system. Cyclacel common shares will trade under the ticker symbol “CYCC”. Cyclacel preferred shares will carry the ticker symbol “CYCCP”. Trading follows completion on March 27, of the previously announced transactions between Cyclacel Group plc and Xcyte Therapies, Inc.
